Able K-9 is exactly who they say they are and Martha is a woman of her word!
I purchased two puppies from Martha, a male and a female. After 24 hours of having them, I decided they weren't quite what I had been looking for. As horrible as that sounds, Martha is a woman of her word! We called and explained how we felt. She said "Bring them back! I told you that if for ANY reason you changed your mind I would take them back! No questions asked!!!" Martha said she wanted us to be satisfied! She also wanted her puppies to have the best home for them and for all involved to be happy!
1 month later Martha called us and said "I have the puppy for you!" Today when we picked her up we were shocked! Martha had definitely found us the exact puppy we were looking for! I'm so thankful that we trusted her and took her at her word! Needless to say we are beyond happy to have our new puppy!
Martha is truly a joy to work with! Your relationship with Able K-9 doesn't stop when you take your puppy home :) Their knowledge and experience is awesome, and they will answer any and all questions you might have! They sincerely want your new puppy to be the perfect addition to your family!!!

We worked with Martha to get a little girl puppy and we were very excited to bring her home. We anxiously waited for 8 weeks and our children were counting down the days. We brought her home and we all were getting adjusted only to need to return her due to some medical situations that we were going to be going through. We reached back out to Martha and told her we had made a bad decision with the timing of bringing a puppy into our home. Martha gladly took the puppy back and talked to us and assured us that she understood and that when things get worked out we can come back out and get another puppy from her. We are looking forward to that because the time we had with our puppy was such joy for our family.

Wanted to give a quick update about our GSD from able k-9.

Baci came from Viper and Athena, and has been a wonderful addition to our home. She is now 5, and still full of energy, so we reward her with an active lifestyle. We daily go out for an "urban mushing" session, where she pulls me on a longboard (skate board), obeys navigational directions, and pulls to her hearts content. She also has an amazing guard drive, and protects / alerts like a GSD is known to. While aloof around strangers and other dogs, she gets along great with our Siberian Husky.

All in all, she is a wonderful dog, and having viper blood in her, full of some serious spunk for a little GSD (55 pounds). Will easily out-pull our Husky.

As I began my search for a German Shepherd, I talked with Martha. She is very knowledgeable about the breed and is more than willing to share her expertise in order to find her puppies good homes. Martha answered all my questions and those of my grandchildren. I am more than pleased with my experience with her kennel and love my German Shepherd Dog. He is a beautiful 4-month old puppy and has a great temperament.

I am the proud owner of Freyja who turned a year old last month (she was of the Caleb/Aurora litter Dec'14). Frey has grown so much (over 60lbs now) and has the most beautifully fluffy coat and ear feathers not unlike her fluffy daddy. She is such a smart girl and has the goofiest personality. She gets along so well with my cats and son. My son plays slay the dragon with her (using a soft sword) as she will around playing with him all the while being very gentle not to topple him over. Martha, I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful, healthy sidekick to me and my son.

I and my husband got lil mis dixie lee rose now shes about to turn 6 months and shes amazing shes sweet a cuddle bug and loves to steal our spots on the couch and loves our other german shepherd red heeler mix baby boy he finally got used to her and loves to cudle with her

My husband and I picket up little Atlas back in February. Atlas is now over 7 months old. He is gorgeous, sweet, laid back, affectionate, a practical joker and I love him so much. He is about 75 lbs now. He came from the Caleb/Aurora litter last December. I feel like I won the temperament lottery with him. He has grown up with my very grumpy 12 year old rottie Vader, and he just comes over and gives her kisses in the morning even if she is cranky with him. Wish I could post a pic just so you could see how handsome this boy is. He has great house manners and the first time I should him how to "flip" over a Frisbee with my finger so he could grab it, he learned it in a snap. Now you throw it, he takes his nose and flips it and carries it back to you for more fun. We takes walks in the morning, evening, all the time. Going to take him camping soon.

My wife and I would like to thank you for Zeus. He is turning out to be a great dog, he is being taught numerous things and picking them up fast. He is doing particularly well with tracking; we are still new at it but he picked that up from the first moment. The attachment is a few pictures from this week at the dog park. It was hot but also late evening, so you can see he was worn out after chasing a 2 year old shepherd for a while.

Brought a German Shepherd from Martha and picked him up over the weekend. Martha is really smart with this breed. My wife was on edge about getting another dog till she received the pictures at week 5. Once she saw him she fell in love. The puppy is extremely friendly at week 8 with peoplpeople and other dogs. With the dogs raised in the area they are it is not uncommon for ticks and we found about 3 and just pulled them out. Other then that everything is perfect and will be recommending her to friends and family.

I purchased a female puppy in May 2014. In September, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. I was very concerned, as I was already attached to her. I am a disabled Vet, and at home with her everyday. Normally, a breeder's guarantee requires returning the puppy for another. Martha allowed me to keep Bella, and has promised me a free puppy whenever I'm ready.
On the positive side of Bella, she is incredibly intelligent, and has a great personality. I love her to death...scratch that, I love her to life!

I purchased a male puppy from Martha in December '14 from the Romeo/Colt litter. Troops is very smart and a very fast learner. He's already practically housebroken at the age of 11 weeks, and knows sit, stay come, roll over, speak and shake. He was quick to leash train and his heel is almost perfect. He is not fearful at all, and has very steady nerves.

One thing I will say to any prospective puppy buyer is listen to Martha when she tells you how to manage your new GSD! She knows what she is talking about. If I ever decide to add another GSD to my home, I'll be going back to Martha.

I got my dog, Dante, almost 5 years ago from Martha and I can't even begin to tell anyone how much I love and adore him. By the time he was 12 weeks old, he knew basic commands like sit, stay, come, up, down, move, go, etc. He is so incredibly intelligent and wants NOTHING more than to love and please. I've literally never had an issue with him behavior-wise and have referred people to Martha because of how lovely and loyal of a dog that he is. I've now gotten my parents on board with getting a german shepherd pup and the new liter was born just last week so we are excited to bring home another of Able K9's wonderful dogs.

So long as I am going to be a pet owner, I will always, always, always come back to Martha.

My family adopted a puppy just 2 ago from Martha, and we couldn't be happier! Heisenberg is the smartest puppy I have ever met. At 10 weeks, he is fully crate trained, nearly housebroken, knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, down, and he's learning to shake hands. He weighs 14.9 lbs and growing so fast! We will be back in the future!

My family adopted a German Shepherd puppy from Martha last year, and we are so glad we did. We had recently lost a puppy to a disease, and my 3 daughters were really hurting. Martha patiently helped them through the ordeal by letting them pick out one of her puppies at only 5 days old. She let them come visit with him every week until we could bring him home. She has answered every question we could come up with, before, during, and since the adoption process. She showed us all how to handle him as a puppy so that he would love, trust, and obey us as he got older. He's now almost 6 months old, and he is an amazing part of our family. We will never be able to thank Martha enough for everything she's done for us. I would recommend her and her dogs to everyone looking for a true companion.

It was a wonderful experience working with you, and thank you for being so flexible with us. I think we visited the pups every weekend until we picked them up!! Jake has caught up to Ellie in the past week. As far as the requirements for working with a reputable and caring breeder, you met all of them and more!!
